- Non-resident players may participate in:
- U18 AAA (Male)
- U17 AAA (Male)

Player Release Pathway: U18 Flow Chart
- U18 AAA Releases:
- Players born in 2010/2011 move to U17 AAA
- RD Players born in 2009 move to U18 AA
- 2009 Born Non-resident players return to their home Minor Hockey Association
- U17 AAA Releases:
- 2010 players - move to U18 AA
- 2011 players - move to U16 AA
- 2011 players released to attend U16 A (2011 players released may request to attend U18 AA)
- U18 AAA Female Releases:
- RD Players - move to U18 AA Female
- Non-residents - returned to home association
- U18 AA Female Releases:
- RD Players - move to U18 Tiered Female
- Non-residents - return to home association
- U18 AA Releases (Male):
- Players - move to U18 A-C
